Description of services
Seed/Sod:
Spring and fall are the best times to install sod and seed. Areas that have been damaged by the harsh winter (due to tires, plows and salt) can be repaired now before it gets too hot and dry. Over seeding established areas is also a good idea now while we still have cool nights.
Aerating:
Aerating opens up the soil, providing roots with more water and air. If done prior to fertilizing, nutrients will reach the root zone quicker. Roots need air as well as water and nutrients for growth. The best time to have this done is in the spring or fall.
Dethatching:
Thatch slows air and water penetration, harbors pests and diseases. Thatch stops water and fertilizer from reaching the topsoil. The best time to have this done is in the spring or fall.
Spring/Fall clean up:
Early spring and late fall is the time to clean up your landscaping and lawn. We remove leaves, dead plants and weeds and touch up the bushes.
Mulching/Weeding:
The beds should be cleaned out, weeded (in order to keep weed growth to a minimum) and edged with a fresh layer of mulch to help your flowers and shrubs grow. The best time to have this done is in the spring or summer.
Weeding/Weed Spray:
Beds, curbs, and walkways can be sprayed throughout the season with weed killer and removed when dead.
Edging:
Properties look so much better with a clean edge. We will edge your lawn around curbs, walkways and beds. The best time to have this done is in the spring before lawn mowing begins.
Brush trimming/Pruning:
Bushes and shrubs/trees should be cut and trimmed to a healthy and attractive shape insuring proper growth throughout the year. The best time to have this done is in the summer and/or fall.
New Landscaping:
We will add, install, replace or revitalize any landscaping on your property.
