2009 Turf Application Program
Step One: Early spring fertilizer with slow release and crabgrass control – for early spring green-up and early season pre-emergent crabgrass control.
Step Two: Lat spring blanket liquid weed control – for control of broad leaf weeds such as dadelions, plantain, and clover etc. This application also includes liquid Iron for plant health.
Step Three: Late spring fertilizer with slow release and crabgrass control – for late spring green-up and late season pre-emergent crabgrass control.
Step Four: Mid to late summer fertilizer with slow release and Iron – to maintain turf vigor growth and to repair grass plants from summer stress.
Optional: Grub control may be applied at this time if needed
Step Five: Early fall fertilizer with slow release and weed control – for early fall green-up and for control fo the harder to kill fall broad leaf weeds such as clover, henbit, wild strawberry and ground ivy.
Step Six: Late fall winterizer fertilizer with slow release – for late fall and dormant feeding. This application will help with winter hardiness and provide a nice dormant recovery.

Step 3 in August
Grub control done between August and October if requested.
Step 4 in September
Step 5 in October
